It has been said that one must crawl before they can walk and this is no exception when it comes to writing. I was very fortunate earlier this year to have one of my short stories, or flash fictions, published in
The Pitsbugh Flash Fiction Gazette. Despite the length being very short, I am still extremely proud that this is my first published work.
I've placed a link here to the story and it is also housed in the sidebar of my blog page. I hope you enjoy reading this tale. I feel that it captured the essence of hope in a desperate and bleak time and may have been the story of many soldiers who felt the same as my character, Jack, during the Vietnam War.
